Personal news: After three years of learning, this was my last week at Reuters Graphics. I’m taking a break and heading back to Delhi.

I came to Singapore for four reasons primarily — be student debt free, work with the amazing Simon Scarr, be part of an international news organisation, and eat hundreds of xiao long bao. The past three years have given me all that, and so much more. The highlight has obviously been learning from members of an absolutely phenomenal team.

What’s next? I’m not sure. But after a break, I plan to freelance as an independent data journalist and information designer/developer back home. I do have plans and thoughts and will be asking you to ping me for collaborations, but that’s not gonna happen for few weeks.

For now, I am going to go home and hug my parents after the hell the past year has been.
